1. When auditioning you agree that you are committed and dedicated to both the organization and the production. Respect by all for all, dancers, choreographers, and directors included, is expected.

2. Timeliness is very important to RBIM. Please be sure to be on time for all meetings and 10 minutes early to stretch before rehearsals, so that choreographers can make full use of their time slot. Choreographers are also asked to keep rehearsals within the allotted time slot, so as not to take up other dancers and choreographers rehearsal time.

3. Choreographers are only required to teach new material to those present at rehearsals. If you miss a rehearsal, you may not be included in the section of the dance taught.

4. Absences will be considered excused only when one is absolutely unable to be present. If you are ill, please try to come to rehearsal to watch, so that you may be included in new sections. Please also try to schedule trips out of town that do not conflict with rehearsals. All choreographers will be taking attendance at each rehearsal, which will be checked by directors every 3 weeks. More than 2 unexcused absences, by choreographers or dancers, may result in dismissal from the production.

5. Choreographers must give dancers and directors 2 weeks notice if they will be absent from rehearsal, and 2 days notice if they will be late.

6. All dancers must be registered with the company, so choreographers need to keep directors updated on dancer rosters. By 1st week Spring Quarter, no dancers may be added to any piece.

7. Choreographers need to make sure to meet all deadlines set for showings and pre-show rehearsals, for example, turning in music CDs with cut times or detailed instructions for lighting design.

8. Proper dance attire is required at all times (this standard may be set by individuals choreographers when rehearsals begin). ENERGY is also a must at all rehearsals.

9. Communication is key. If you, as a dancer or as a choreographer, have any issues, concerns, or comments, please feel free to express them to the directors. Your voice is always welcomed and valued as a company member.
